Sunshine customer Nick Fain recently experienced what we all do at one time: a close call on the road. He wonders how things could still be this way; read his self desribed “rant” in the Marin IJ.

That’s why I gave up road riding in the late 1970’s. I used to ride alone and with the Marin Cyclists all over the place. Too many close calls got on my nerves so I sold my Ron Cooper road bike. I took up hiking again. Then I answered a “roommate wanted” ad posted in Our Store many years ago. I became Gary Fisher’s roommate on San Anselmo Avenue and the rest is history.
